a. AS EXPERTS ON GAS PRESSURE CYLINDERS, WE ARE INTENSIVELY RESEARCHING CLIMATE-NEUTRAL ALTERNATIVES TO THE GREENHOUSE GAS N2O.
b. HOW TO REDUCE THE CARBON FOOTPRINT OF A SINGLE SERVING OF CREAM.
> When looking at a serving of cream (cream toppings), one thing quickly becomes clear: animal dairy cream is the most important ingredient in terms of quantity when preparing a cream topping. Like all animal-based produce, cream also has a considerable carbon footprint. It means the more cream is used to prepare a serving of cream (cream topping), the worse it is for our climate. For whipping the cream by hand, mixer, or with the electrical whipping machine, about twice as much cream is required as for whipping in the iSi system. Thanks to the high whipping volume, the iSi system gets more servings out of the cream used and thus reduces the cream requirement per serving. This saved material usage reduces greenhouse gas emissions (and saves costs).

d. WE DEVELOP PRODUCTS THAT REDUCE FOOD WASTE AND OPTIMIZE THE MATERIAL USAGE FOR THE SAKE OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND OUR CUSTOMERS.
> Our food is grown, harvested, transported several times, stored, often refrigerated or processed, and finally prepared. This requires energy and space and produces greenhouse gases. The WWF observes that a third of all food production is currently being lost worldwide. Every kilogram of food that ends up in the garbage unnecessarily burdens our climate and is a wasted cost for foodservice businesses.
> Hence, reducing "food waste", i.e., the leftovers, is a declared goal in the development of our devices. The most effective factors for this are the extension of the shelf life of the cream and the complete usage of the cream from the iSi bottle. We fulfill both, because the iSi system (all whippers) is airtight and gives the cream a shelf life for several days. Even if these are already very important steps towards "food waste" reduction, we are continuously researching and developing other solutions to prevent food waste within our system.

This was audited and certified by TÜV Austria. When selecting suitable projects, one thing was and is clear to us: we want to neutralize N2O in a targeted manner in order to protect our planet's climate. We therefore sought a solution that would enable us to reliably and verifiably neutralize the same amount of N2O that we emit into the atmosphere within the framework of internationally monitored climate protection projects. We finally identified suitable projects in agriculture: N2O is an unintentional by-product of fertilizer production in the chemical industry.
